The Level-Dec is the original level-access shower floor former.

Designed and developed by Impey UK over a decade ago, it is an all-in-one moulded shower floor that has the drainage gradient/slope already built in and it can be fitted with ease into most floor types and in almost any location.
Design flexibility is a key feature of the Level-Dec as it is available in a wide range of shapes and sizes, plus it is suitable for installation into timber or concrete floors and it can also be trimmed for precise fitting in alcoves.

It is a solid core product which means it is far tougher and more rigid than the competition - years of development, a 15 year warranty and two national awards are a testament to the design of this product.

It is compatible with waste pumps too, for those locations where gravity drainage is not possible.

All Aqua decks are supplied with a DSS1/H horizontal drain (vertical is available on request).

How the Level-Dec works:

The Level-Dec is simply a pre-moulded shower floor insert that is set into the existing floor to finish flush with the ground surrounding it.

So, if it is being set onto timber joists the outline of the Level-Dec must first be marked in position and then the existing floor boards in that area are cut and removed.

The pipework and waste trap is then fitted and set into place, then the Level-Dec is let into the aperture. Once the drainage and trap are connected the Level-Dec can then be secured into place using the screws provided.

Then the Level-Dec and surrounding floor area can be covered in slip-resistant vinyl to give the perfect level-access shower area.

If the Level-Dec does not finish flush with the surrounding floor area then it may be necessary to raise the level of the floor using 4mm plywood.

For concrete floors it is necessary to chase out an aperture in the top screed to accommodate the Level-Dec, again it is essential that it finishes flush with the surrounding floor area.
