Marmox Showerlay 1200 x 900mm Wetroom Base, Drain & Tanking Kit

The Marmox Showerlay is a low-cost, easy-to-install waterproof base, used in the design of a wet room for the home.

The Showerlay is easily cut into any size or shape and forms a floor level, barrier-free panel ready to receive tiles.

Unlike many other shower tray brands, a Marmox showerlay is robust enough to allow mosaic tiles as small as 50mm to be laid on it without the risk of compression through point loading.

This system is laid onto the floor joists and is effectively inserted into the existing flooring. To complete the wetroom flooring you will require a drain and waterproofing (tanking) to the surrounding area.

NB If you have a concrete floor or if there is no access under the flooring to locate the shower drain, then the tray can still be used by building a stepped area using layers of 40mm and 20mm waterproof panels laid across the existing floor surface and to any shape you choose. You then tape and tank in the normal manner.
