Impey TileSafe 5m Wet Floor Membrane Waterproofing Kit

Kit Contains:

• 5m of Tilesafe membrane (5m roll, 1m wide)
• Tilesafe primer
• Jointing tape (10 meter roll, 150mm wide)
• Jointing compound
• Repair Putty

Tilesafe is a bitumen-based tanking membrane for waterproofing shower zones etc.

The product is probably one of the best tanking membranes available for use in wetroom applications as it provides a thick industrial strength impermeable barrier to any water that may escape beneath the tiles.

The membrane is self-adhesive and comes on a roll. Once installed tiles can be applied immediately - there is no curing time.

Although particularly suited to floor applications Tilesafe can also be applied to walls as an additional precaution. However, there is a maximum weight limit for wall mounted tiles when using Tilesafe and this should not exceed 20kg/m2.

The Tilesafe can be used with under floor heating, and at Impey UK we recommend use of the Devimat 100 watt system.

Impey UK offer 2 different kit sizes for Tilesafe, 5m2 and 10m2.

Note: Maximum effective temperature for Tilesafe is 32oC and should not be exceeded. Impey do not recommend any other heating system than the Devimat 100 watt system.
