Adjustments – What are they and why they help installations
All Sommer wet room screens allow adjustment for easy, secure fixing.
Each Sommer product allows a generous amount of movement at each profile. The profile is the piece that fixes to the wall and as these profiles have “adjustments” shower screen can be securely fixed into position even when walls are not precisely straight or if the thickness of your choice of tiles affects the installation space for your Sommer screen.
The dimensions of a corner installation will slightly differ from that of an installation in an alcove.
The adjustments on Sommer products allow for both of these installation types with the same product.
Bclean Coating
B-clean is a clever finish, applied to all glass on all Sommer wet room screens.
On glass treated with B-clean coating, water simply rolls off the glass, taking with it any other dirt, soap residue, oil or grime preventing build up on the glass.
How it works:
Under a microscope normal glass has an uneven surface so limescale moisture and grime will build
up. B-clean creates a barrier with an even surface that repels this build up.
Kinder to the Environment:
B-clean will save you time, and is also kind to the environment. It reduces the frequency of cleaning
by half and your wet room panel will not require harsh abrasive cleaning chemicals, which can be damaging to the environment.
B-clean saves you time and maintains the superb look of your Sommer wet room shower screen.
Sommer 8 is suitable for fitting with a shower tray or wetroom floor application.
The Sommer 8 range of sliding shower doors and enclosures is compatible with the Zamori range of low profile shower trays.
