Wetrooms Online Ltd. Customer Terms and Conditions

Definitions

In this agreement the terms have the following meanings:

  1. "Customer" means the user or buyer purchasing a product from Wetrooms Online Ltd..
  2. "Supplier" means any supplier who Wetrooms Online Ltd. markets the products of.
  3. "Agreement" means the contract between Wetrooms Online Ltd. and the Customer to which these conditions will apply.
  4. "Product" is the item that Wetrooms Online Ltd. will market on behalf of the Supplier.

Scope

This Agreement shall apply to all Products purchased by a Customer via the Wetrooms Online Ltd. web site. By agreeing to these Terms your statutory rights are not affected.

Personal Details
Your personal details are used to fulfil your order only. We do not sell or share your details with 3rd party marketing companies etc.
By placing an order with Wetrooms Online Ltd your email address will be added to our email marketing list so that you can be kept updated with details of new products and offers etc. You can unsubscribe from this list at any time using the link contained in the email.

Payment

All online transactions are in £ GBP and are processed by WorldPay. WorldPay provides a secure purchasing environment online and handles all credit and debit card payments.
Wetrooms Online Ltd DO NOT handle or store your credit / debit card details.

We accept all major credit and debit cards including: Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo.
We also accept payment via PayPal.

Once your order is complete and you successfully submit payment through the WorldPay service you will receive an e-mail with confirmation of your order. This means that your bank has authorised the transaction.

Order Shipment and Delivery

WetBase: We aim to ship all WetBase orders on the day of order if the order is placed and paid for by 3pm on a working day (Monday - Friday). WetBase orders (excluding kits with glass screen) are shipped on a next working day service. Delivery will normally take place between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday.

Next Working Day Delivery: For WetBase Kits and Tanking Kits marked as 'Next Working Day Delivery' we will ship the item in accordance with above if the order is received and paid before 3pm on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays). Whilst the item will be shipped on a 'Next Working Day' service we do not guarantee it will arrive next working day as this is entirely down to the courier company and beyond our control. In our experience the vast majority of consignments shipped on  a next working day service will arrive next working day.

On all Wetbase orders placed after 3pm we will endeavor to ship the same day but this cannot be guaranteed, and may ship next working day.

Glass Screens: Due to the weight, size and fragile nature of the glass screens we use a specialist delivery firm. This means that these cannot be shipped next day service. Delivery of glass screens usually takes place within 3 - 7 working days from the placing and payment of the order.
We will call or email you to advise of the delivery date. PLEASE check the glass screen at time of receipt and advise of damage immediately on 0151 608 8011 ideally whilst the delivery person(s) are still on site.

All Other Items: All other items normally ship within 48hrs of order and payment being made. All items are shipped on a next working day service. Delivery will normally take place between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday

Damaged Items and Incorrect Items

PLEASE check  glass screens at time of receipt and advise of damage immediately on 0151 608 8011 ideally whilst the delivery person(s) are still on site.
All damage and incorrectly shipped items must be notified within 24hrs of receipt. In all instances please KEEP ALL PACKAGING for inspection and take photographs to document the damage.

Special Order  / Bespoke Items 

When a special order is placed Wetrooms Online Ltd. will send a confirmation order to the Supplier. The item will be delivered direct from the Supplier to the Customer. The Supplier will add their contact details to the delivery note. This is the point of contact if there is any problem with the order.

When the Product has been dispatched the Supplier will notify Wetrooms Online Ltd..

Delivery timescales vary depending on each product and can be checked prior to order with Wetrooms Online. Most special order products are made to order and will therefore be made on placement of an order by the customer.

Special order / bespoke items are exempt from our returns policy and can only be returned if delivered damaged, incomplete or if the order is incorrect due to Wetrooms Online or the manufacturers proven error.
Special orders and bespoke items cannot be canceled once placed onto the manufacturer.

Access - Glass Screens & Bulky Items

Before ordering please ensure that you have adequate access to your property for the delivery of the ordered item. Please also ensure you have adequate access to the room of installation for your screen / bulky item.
Please see the returns paragraph below which applies to returns of this nature.

Shipping Charges
All orders over £100.00 in value to mainland UK addresses are shipped free of charge. For shipments to the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight and other offshore Islands etc shipping charges may apply. Please call 0151 608 8011 prior to ordering to see if any shipping charges apply.

Orders under the value of £100.00 will incurr a delivery charge as detailed at the time of checkout.

Cancelation of an Order

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order please e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. detailing your order number. If the order is for a stocked item (i.e. NOT special order) and the order has not already shipped from Wetrooms Online or our suppliers a full and immediate refund will be made.
If the item has shipped then the customer will need to arrange for its safe and complete return before a refund can be made. Please see the returns policy below.

Returns

If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, with the exception of special order items, we will offer a refund or an exchange as long as this is requested within 14 days of receiving your order. Goods must be returned to Wetrooms Online or if instructed the Supplier in perfect condition and accompanied by this order confirmation. Wetrooms Online Ltd. is not liable for postage, shipping or taxes due on returned goods. Please take into account postage and shipping times when returning goods.

We recommend using Recorded or Special Delivery when returning products since Wetrooms Online Ltd. and the Supplier will not be responsible for Products lost or damaged in transit. Postage will be refunded only if Products are faulty or an error has been made on the part of the Supplier or Wetrooms Online Ltd..

Wetrooms Online Ltd comply with the distant selling regulations, however we reserve the right to deduct a re-stocking fee (up to 25%) of the original cost purchase price for items that are returned and that we cannot resell as 'new'. This can include but is not exclusive to:

- Items returned in damaged / ripped packaging
- Items returned in non-original packaging
- Items returned incomplete
- Items returned due to lack of delivery access and / or access to the room of installation.

It is the senders responsibility to make sure the returned item is correctly and sufficiently packed to prevent damage in transit.
Items damaged in return transit to Wetrooms Online Ltd (or the supplier) may result in a reduced refund dependent on the condition up to 100% of the price paid.

To request a return please call 0151 608 8011 and have to hand your order number and the date of order.

Refunds
Please allow up to 14 working days for your return to be received, checked and the refund processed. Refunds will be made back to your original payment method.

Tax and VAT Charges

Wetrooms Online Ltd. is VAT Registered at present.

VAT is charged on all orders at the current rate.

Customs and tax charges may be applicable for shipping to countries out with the European Union (EU). Wetrooms Online Ltd. endeavor to put the correct Customs Clarifications / Commodity Codes on parcels. However, we cannot be held responsible for import duties and charges.

EU Member States (as at May 2007) include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

Intellectual Property & Copyright

All Products distributed by Wetrooms Online or the Supplier will remain the Supplier's intellectual property. Any Design produced by a Supplier carries a copyright and cannot be reproduced without written consent.

The Customer will not hold Wetrooms Online Ltd. responsible for any infringement of copyright relating to copy contained within a Product.

It is the Supplier's responsibility to ensure that any Product Design is lawful, does not infringe any Copyright or any other laws.

Alterations to Terms of Business

Wetrooms Online Ltd. reserves the right to alter these Terms of Business at any time and will replace the Terms of Business on our web site when we do so.

Distance Selling Regulations

The following information is extracted from the www.dti.gov.uk web site. Wetrooms Online Ltd. complies with all Distance Selling Regulations.

Distance selling means selling and buying by phone, mail order, via the Internet or digital TV. Such transactions are covered generally by normal buying and selling legislation, but they are also covered by special Distance Selling Regulations.

Distance Selling Regulations give protection to consumers who shop by phone, mail order, via the Internet or digital TV:

The protection includes:

  • The right to receive clear information about goods and services before deciding to buy;
  • Confirmation of this information in writing;
  • A cooling off period of seven working days in which the consumer can withdraw from the contract;

These conditions and all other express terms of contract shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
