The WetBase ONE Infinity by wedi is the premium tier of the WetBase range — a single-fall linear wet room former engineered for high-spec residential and commercial installations. At just 40mm at its deepest end, the ultra-slim profile keeps the tiling plane clean and consistent, making it the preferred choice where large format tiles are specified. A single, uniform fall across the entire floor surface directs water to the linear drain with no multi-directional fall geometry — no visible change of gradient, no interrupted tile joints.
The wedi Fundo Wave drain rotates a full 360° beneath the tray during installation — position the waste outlet anywhere around the clock face to suit the waste pipe location on site. On timber-joisted floors, simply rotate the drain body to clear joist positions without structural intervention. The cut-to-length grating is just 35mm wide, creating a near-invisible drainage line in the finished installation. Two trays can be laid side by side to create larger showering areas without multiple falls or complex geometry.

The WetBase® ONE Infinity by wedi is the premium tier of the WetBase range — a single-fall linear wet room former available exclusively from Wetrooms Online. Like the WetBase Standard and Linear, it is recessed into the floor and tiled over, delivering a level, fully tiled wet room floor with no raised threshold or step. What sets the ONE apart is its ultra-slim 40mm profile and its use of wedi's Fundo Wave drain system — a factory-engineered drain assembly with a 35mm wide cut-to-length grating that creates a near-invisible drainage line in the finished installation. Manufactured in Germany by wedi and available exclusively from Wetrooms Online, it is the only product of its kind in the UK market.
The single-fall design is a deliberate choice for high-spec, design-led installations. Rather than directing water from multiple angles toward a central point drain, the ONE directs the entire floor surface in a single, consistent fall toward the linear drain — delivering a perfectly level, uninterrupted tiling plane. This is critical for large format tile installations where any change in fall direction would be visible in the tile joints. The wedi Fundo Wave drain rotates a full 360° beneath the tray during installation: rotate the drain body to position the waste outlet exactly where the waste pipe needs to go, clearing joist positions on timber floors without any structural compromise.
The tray itself is waterproof and does not require additional tanking on the former. The surrounding floor area and walls do require tanking before tiling — a tanking kit for these areas is supplied as part of the complete kit. On timber floors, the tray is installed directly onto the joists. The surrounding floor is brought up to level using 10mm tile backer board before tanking and tiling. Where a clean, seamless transition from tray to surrounding floor is required, optional Side Slope Tile Profiles are available in 1200mm and 1800mm lengths.
