The AKW Tuff Form wet room / walk in shower tray is a lightweight yet strong floor former that is suitable for use with wheelchair showering and can accept VINYL or TILED flooring making it the ideal choice for both disabled showers and family wet rooms, or where combined usage is required.

AKW FormSafe Tanking Membrane Kit:
FormSafe is probably one of the best tanking membranes available for use in wetroom applications as it provides a thick industrial strength impermeable barrier to any water that may escape beneath the tiles. The membrane is self-adhesive and comes on a roll. Once installed tiles can be applied immediately - there is no curing time.
Although particularly suited to floor applications FormSafe can also be applied to walls as an additional precaution. However, there is a maximum weight limit for wall mounted tiles when using FormSafe and this should not exceed 20kg/m2.
FormSafe can be used with under floor heating. Note: Maximum effective temperature for FormSafe is 32oC and should not be exceeded. Electrical heating max 150w.
AKW offer 2 different kit sizes for FormSafe, 5m2 and 10m2.
